tribeca apartment

Located in a large warehouse conversion building by the Hudson River, this TriBeCa condo was a maze of space-constricting elements. Concrete columns, intrusive stairs, blocked windows, a glass panel between the kitchen and the bedroom.

Through meticulous renovation the space is now unrecognizable. Custom millwork graces every room creating a cohesive atmosphere characterized by clean, elegant lines while also providing abundant storage solutions tailored to the needs of this family of four.

inset walls create “separate rooms” while clean, continuous lines connect the spaces as one.

a column with storage, a floating console with storage, a floating bench with storage, and a charging nook for storing devices at meal times. we considered every space.

a bright, u-shape with a breakfast bar both expands and delineates the kitchen.

this room is now impressively bigger and brighter with the vanity stairs removed, the floor lowered, and the window unblocked. a combined wardrobe and desk space sits at the long end of the room, balancing the space. the removal of the glass panel to the kitchen restores privacy.

a window hugging, floor to ceiling storage unit, fit for a drummer to let loose in her room now that it’s sealed in thick, noise absorbing carpet.

glass partitions, glass doors, and glass tiles, this bathroom saw a modern yet classical update, including in size.
