UPPER EAST SIDE APARTMENT COMBINATION
We worked with a young couple on New York City's Upper East Side to transform two adjacent apartments into a unified, functional home. The project began with the couple’s vision to combine their existing two-bedroom apartment with a newly purchased unit, creating a larger and more versatile living space. This reimagining of the layout allowed us to address their need for better flow, additional functionality, and a harmonious connection between the two spaces.
The transformation involved significant spatial changes, including integrating the kitchen into the main living area, expanding the bathroom, and converting one of the kitchens into a dedicated office. We also redesigned the entryway to improve functionality and create a welcoming experience. By skillfully reconfiguring the combined footprint, the result is a light-filled, open home that supports the clients’ lifestyle and reflects their aspirations for a space that feels cohesive and thoughtfully planned.
